Have you ever been in a situation that made you feel so uncomfortable that you wished you could turn around and run, but you knew you had to stay? How did you act in front of those you were with? Did you kick and scream, throw a fit, yell at the top of your lungs? Or did you speak to yourself, telling yourself to get a grip and work through this? I know what you did. You made the choice to grit your teeth, put a smile on your face, and act like you were happy to be there, although you felt a little different than that. If you didn’t make that choice then things probably escalated to the point of getting out of control.
